 All Training Services

Ruff to Wags policy is that clients MUST provide current shots records and submit any requested paperwork before any training can be officially scheduled.  A $25. nonrefundable deposit will be collected at the time of scheduling your 1st appointment to hold the requested time and date for the  appointment. Upon completion of your 1st appointment, the $25 Deposit will be applied towards  your balance. If you fail to give 48 hours to reschedule or cancel the appointment, you will forfeit the deposit.

Absolutely NO choke collars,  shock or e collars, flexi/zip leads .

Things needed for ANY TRAINING Private  or group classes: 

Your DOG

Many of the dogs favorite treats ( we will go through more then you think), at least a 6 foot nonretractable leash, plain buckle collar and proper fitting harness,  and  proper attire for training in the Colorado outdoors and a willness to learn as we provide you the steps of the how to!

 Private training provides a one on one session with a certified trainer, your family and your furbaby. Training can be in Watkins or at your home. You might want to consider private training if: your dog has specific behavior issues that make your dog an inappropriate candidate for group class; you have specific training goals that are not covered in a group class environment or are better addressed in a private setting; your dog does not get along well with other dogs or people; your dog has difficulty focusing around other dogs or in new places; or you have a schedule that makes attending a group class difficult.

Behaviors that we can discuss and addressed are but not limited to:

• Basic Manners – Sit, Stay, Down, Recall, Impluse control
• Potty & Crate Training, Excessive Barking Chewing/destructive behavior, Rushing doors,  Jumping.

Group Classes are limited in size and are scheduled for 1 hour for each session.  All classes will be taught on our Watkins 2 acre property. If weather is not permitting class to be outside, we will move class inside to the barn

Our property is completely secured with 6 foot fencing. There are several different training areas: 2- 1/2 acre partially covered paddocks with separate entrances.  Each paddock has different training tools such as a weave poles, hay stacks and wooden structures to help with building core strength and confidence , walking areas, a 30×50 barn and more.

Recall Training  Course

3 one hour sessions for 3 weeks

Building the foundational skill set to have your dog come to you in different situations or contexts.
